The DataSymbol Barcode Recognition SDK allows you to read barcodes from image files (bmp, tiff, pdf, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, wmf, emf, etc.) and from data streams (you do not have to save the image to a file, you can decode barcodes directly from cameras).
The image can be both colored and black-and-white (scanned documents).
Multi-page TIFF and PDF files are supported.
Large files are quickly decoded due to the preliminary image analysis.
The DataSymbol Barcode Recognition SDK is convenient to deploy because it contains only one .dll (COM, ActiveX) file with the size of about 250 KB. No additional libraries and modules are needed.
